I’m Sean Burger. I came into this industry in 2019 and have worked in both retail jewelry and wholesale manufacturing. Along the way I’ve studied design, craftsmanship, repair and custom work alongside master goldsmiths.

I started Florida Jewelry Design and Consultation to work directly with clients, one piece at a time. Every project begins with a conversation about what you want, what you already own and what it means to you.

Resizing, stone replacement, matching and other changes to pieces you already own.

Standard repairs at flat rates, quoted before work begins.

Simple, finished pieces are available on request. Ask me and I’ll source them.

How a project works

  1. ConsultationWe meet in person or on Zoom to talk through the piece. For Zoom consultations, you ship the piece to me first so I can examine it before quoting.
  2. Quote and approvalRepairs have standard rates. Modifications and custom work are priced on a case-by-case basis. Work will begin once payment has been made.
  3. MakingStandard repairs take about 2 weeks. Major modifications take about 3 to 4 weeks. Custom pieces take about 4 to 6 weeks from approval and deposit.
  4. DeliveryPick up locally or have the finished piece shipped to you.

Timelines are an estimation. Please keep in mind repairs, modifications, and customs are done by hand.
